Baseball & Softball Strength and Conditioning
Group Coached Classes
February through May 2025
We are helping dedicated high school and travel team baseball & softball players build the strength, mobility, and body control they need to take their game to the next level!
Program Description
Coached Group Classes with athlete/coach ratio of 8:1. Maintain strength, improve mobility and speed, monitor body composition.
High School Athletes: Classes meet 1x/week on Sundays to avoid game schedule conflicts.
Travel ball athletes age 13+.
Class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm.
Program Goals:
- Maintain and refine strength and power developed in the off-season.
- Enhance functional mobility, flexibility, and stability.
- Optimize recovery to ensure peak performance during games by incorporating structured cool-down activities such as foam rolling, and static stretching.
Monthly Focus:
- February: Establish a strong foundation with consistent strength maintenance and light explosive movements.
- March: Increase mobility and refine movement patterns, ensuring smooth integration with game performance.
- April: Prioritize recovery and maintain peak strength levels while reducing the risk of overuse injuries.
- May:
Shift focus to recovery and mental preparation for end-of-season tournaments or playoffs.
In-Season Training:
Maintain the strength and power you worked hard to build during the off-season.
Enhanced Recovery:
Learn and perform mobility and recovery techniques to bounce back faster from practices and games.
Injury Prevention:
Targeted exercises strengthen muscles, tendons, and ligaments, reducing the risk of common baseball injuries such as shoulder, elbow, and lower back issues.
Consistency in Development:
Regular strength and conditioning sessions ensure continuous progress, keeping players ahead of the competition.
